Trustees’/ Minister’s Report 2024
The trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31st October 2024
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out in the notes to the accounts and comply with the Charities Act 2011 and the SORP (FRS102) "Accounting and Reporting by Charities" issued in March 2015.
Structure and Governance
TGIF is governed and managed by its four Trustees who meet eight times a year
Risk and Going Concern
The trustees have given due consideration to the major risks to which the charity is exposed, and are satisfied that systems, policies and procedures are in place to mitigate expose to major risks. In particular the trustees have considered the impact of Covid-19 on its ability to raise funds and to deliver its mission. Having reviewed the budgets the trustees are confident that they can continue in operation for a period of at least twelve months from the date these reports are signed.
Reserves
The trustees acknowledge the need to keep reserves in order to be able to financially manage unexpected events and to be able to respond to new opportunities. The trustees seek to hold three months of operating costs in free reserves; based on the current year required free reserves total £12,000. Currently held reserves are £ 27,817 and the trustees are satisfied with this position.
Objectives
The objectives of TGIF are to advance the Christian religion in the local community of Newham for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/or distributing literature on Christianity to enlighten others about the Christian religion.
Financial Review
The Charity's financial transactions during the year and the financial situation at the end of the year are set out in the following accounts. The trustees consider the financial position to be satisfactory.
Minister’s report on the achievements and activities progressed in the year
Glory be to our FATHER GOD, HIS SON our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, and to HIS Most Precious HOLY SPIRIT, who are always with us. GOD is Faithful. HE never had forsaken our Family (TGIF) during the pandemic situation that the whole earth faced, and as that situation faded. And we thank GOD that the physical and health effects of this global pandemic were minimal. Praise the LORD!
And as True Christian believers, we believe and know that GOD is always in control. Though terrible things are happening around the globe, we have a Good, Good GOD that can and will work things out for our good sake because we love HIM, and HIS Perfect Will and Purpose is our command as True and Faithful children.

Trustees’/ Minister’s Report 2024 (continued)
The Word of GOD (Bible) says,
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your GOD is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love GOD, to those who are the called according to HIS purpose. (Romans 8:28)
We would like to encourage and urge you all, that whatever circumstances you may still have right now, as long as you have that true and living faith that works, Faith that do what the Bible says, there’s nothing to worry about. Because whatever happens to you and to the whole world at any given point in time, surely you are in the most Gracious and Loving Hands of GOD our FATHER. Hallelujah!
There are so many negative and unfavourable things that are still happening, and bad information that are still lingering across the globe, that tend to weaken and even to destroy our Faith in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. And mind you, this are all the works of satan the devil, our ultimate enemy, who don’t have any goal and intention, but to scatter, discouraged, weaken, the faith of all Christians in the world. To kill, steal, and destroy, as many Christians as possible. Not only to deceive or tempt, but ultimately to destroy our Glorious Faith in our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. But as what our LORD said all along, we must not be discouraged but to be of good cheer, for HE had overcome it, and so must we as well. We were given the Wisdom, and Power to overcome whatever trials that the devil will try to throw on us. We are more than conquerors in CHRIST our LORD. And don’t forget beloved Brethren, that the devil is already a defeated foe. So don’t be deceived nor be afraid, for we already have the victory against him. Amen!
With regards to our Ministry, by the Grace and Provision of our Faithful God, all activities are still going and moving forward. And thanks be to GOD as restrictions during this pandemic had been lifted-up. And now we can meet face to face, and fellowship but of course with some precautionary measures, for the health and safety of the whole congregation.
And we truly Praise and Thank GOD for the modern technology that this world offers. We are able to use this advance information technology for our benefit, and advantage. Reaching out more people across the globe, sharing the True Gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST through the internet and being able to hold our Glorious Sunday Services online. Truly, all things work together for Good to those who Love the LORD, and those who are called according to HIS purpose.”
We have our website where anybody can watch and see most of our church services, and activities. Bible studies are being conducted house to house as usual. By GOD’s Awesome Wisdom and Avenue, the Gospel is being preach, and we are reaching far more people all around the world, amidst this pandemic. Our JEHOVAH JIREH had provided us with disciples who are so bless with talents and Wisdom in using these modern technologies, effectively for GOD’s Glory and Honour, and continuously proclaiming the GOSPEL of our LORD JESUS CHRIST into the world.

Trustees’/ Minister’s Report 2024 (continued)
We truly thank the LORD for this great avenue of modern communication making HIS great commission unhindered. It’s true, the Ministry was affected financially, but GOD is Good and Faithful, providing for all our needs and lacking nothing, and is now restoring our reserves. In fact, GOD is so Good who allowed us to have an extended family in Kenya. TGIF Kenya that GOD enabled the Ministry to provide support who are taking care of an orphanage of about 50 children. And we are so grateful and thankful to the LORD having the true religion of taking care of the orphans.
As the bad effects of this pandemic subsides, we are continuously praying without ceasing, and hoping for the best are yet to come. And may all our brethren having the True Faith in the LORD, will all the more be strengthened and encouraged because truly GOD will never leave us nor forsake us whatever happens.
May GOD continuously protect us all, HIS children.
GOD Bless the family!

Independent Examiner’s Report
To the Trustees.
I report on the accounts of the Fellowship for the year ended 31[st] October 2024, which are set out in the following pages.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011, “the 2011 Act”, and that an independent examination is needed.
Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subject to audit under company law and is eligible for independent examination, it is my responsibility to:
-
i) Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act;
-
ii) To follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and
-
iii) To state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner’s report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanation s from you the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent examiner’s statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
-
(a) Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:
- a. To keep accounting records in accordance with section 386 of the companies Act 2006; and
-
b. To prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records, comply with the Charities Act 2011 and the SORP (FRS102) "Accounting and Reporting by Charities" issued in March 2015.
-
have not been met; or
-
(b) To which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
