## **Trustees’ Annu al report** Gathering of the saints’ trustees has the responsibility of co-operating with presiding Pastor Veronica Pinneh in promoting and bring to reality the aims and purposes of this ministry. **==> picture [455 x 36] intentionally omitted <==** ## **Objectives and Activities** The trustee members are committed to enabling as many people as possible to come and worship with us and to be become part of the Church family. The trustees have been seeking ways in which we can better serve our community. We seek ways to improve our services to accommodate people from different ethnic back ground and build them into one big happy family of God. Our services and worship put faith into practice through prayer, Scripture, music and communion. We encourage members to live out their faith as part of the ministry and in accordance to the scriptures through: Worship, prayer, daily scripture reading Developing their knowledge of God and Personal relationship with God. Provision of pastoral care Group Bible study. **==> picture [455 x 36] intentionally omitted <==** ## **Achievements and Performance** ## **Worship and Prayer** Gathering of the Saints continues actively in weekly Bible study and prayer meetings, and this has been beneficial and spiritual uplifting for every member. To save cost, members continue to hold meetings: Bible studies, prayer conference and Sunday services in person and via Zoom every week. The weekly prayer meetings provide an opportunity to share each other’s problems by choosing a prayer point that addresses each individual’s circumstances. Group Bible study is usually a time to socialise and table fellowship, but because most of our meetings are now online, socialising has been badly affected. The Zoom virtual call afforded members the opportunity to relate with one another. If all goes well, we planning a n out-door gathering this summer. To reach our community , we continue with street witnessing, door to door and most often open-air preaching, where we read the Scriptures offer prayers, encouragement and emotional support to people in different communities. Sometimes, we travel to other towns and city in England to evangelise, providing free Bibles, Christian books, leaflet, tracts, etc. **==> picture [455 x 36] intentionally omitted <==** ## **Pastoral Care** The committee ensure the pastor visits members when needs arise. The Pastor regularly makes phone calls to members to inquire about their well-being and encouraged members to keep in touch with each other. The pastor also make hospital visit to sick members, offers online advice and prayers to members and new contacts that we sometime make during our street witnessing. **==> picture [455 x 36] intentionally omitted <==** ## **Mission and Evangelism** Like Jesus, helping those in need and share the gospel with the lost, is our priority as a ministry and as a way of demonstrating our faith. The trustees continue to donate immensely to this ministry, which in turn had enabled us to support other ministries in mission outreach and evangelism. From time to time, we carry out door to door evangelism and street witnessing. Some individuals we witnessed to on the street do phone for prayers. Currently, we are actively looking for a new place of worship which has been very difficult to secure because of the pandemic, as many Churches are not willing to rent out their hall. **==> picture [455 x 36] intentionally omitted <==** ## **Ecumenical Relationship** Our pastor attends minister’s fellowship meeting, once every month and monthly prayer evening with other ministries and denominations. At the present, our Pastor can only attend meetings with other Ministers via Zoom. And she remains a member of the International Ministers Fellowship (IMF), UK. **==> picture [455 x 36] intentionally omitted <==** ## **Financial Review** Total receipts funds from 1[st] June 2023 to 31[st] - May 2024, in tithes and offering was £1,291.15 And the amount B/F from previous financial year was: £21,134.98. Please see the annual account for more details. **==> picture [455 x 36] intentionally omitted <==** ## **Structure, governance and management** The method of appointing a trustee member is set in the Church representation rules. At Gathering of the Saints, membership of trustees consists of the Pastor, elders and senior members of the Church. The trustees are responsible for making decisions on all matters of general concern and importance to the ministry including decisions on how the ministry’s fund is spent. The trustees meet every three months via online to discuss issues and take decisions on matters that will help move the ministry forward. **==> picture [455 x 35] intentionally omitted <==** ## **Administrative information** Gathering of the Saints held its weekly and Sunday services at the pastor’s residence (23 Morton Road, London N1 3BB).
