Young<br>Church meets each Sunday for young<br>people to find out more about the Christian<br>faith. We meet weekly for prayer either at<br>the church or in homes across the Norwich<br>area. We have specific activities for older<br>people which are held during the day,<br>namely Coffee Time and also Friends at<br>12:15 which caters for a wider age range. In<br>this last year, we have added a further<br>opportunity for older people to gather who<br>meet monthly one afternoon. This gained<br>immediate traction. There are midweek<br>activities for young people. The three<br>groups currently operating are Jam, Aim<br>and Switched. We have a Mums and<br>Toddlers group which we call Smarties. This<br>group meets collectively on Friday<br>mornings. Our Christians against poverty<br>job club had existed to provide and teach<br>skills to individuals who are struggling to<br>find work and our Christians against poverty<br>debt centre provided coaches to help those<br>who struggle to arrange and maintain their<br>finances and who consequently fall into|





|||debt. During the year, this work ceased and<br>has been replaced by a group that meets at<br>the church each week designed to promote<br>friendship and community and which tailors<br>support in a number of areas more<br>informally and which we believe will have a<br>much wider reach. We offer support for<br>people locally for whom English is not their<br>first language. We have volunteers who are<br>qualified teachers in this regard to do so.<br>We support various individuals and<br>organisations locally nationally and<br>internationally in their carrying out of<br>mission activities including Tearfund,<br>Norwich Youth for Christ, Friends<br>International, New Tribes Mission and MAF.<br>A highlight of this year has been our second<br>week long Summerfest 23 held at Waterloo<br>Park in Norwich providing a holiday club for<br>children and activities for adults as well as<br>help groups including CAP and TEFL.<br>Building on the previous year, we have<br>consolidated relationships and started to<br>build new ones in the local community|

We hold<br>three services on a Sunday. The services at<br>9:30 and 11:15 are identical and developed<br>as a result of the pandemic. The numbers<br>that attend are higher than would be able to<br>fit in the building together. Refreshments<br>are served between the two services which<br>provides a valuable time to mix and develop<br>friendships and ensures people feel a<br>sense of belonging to the whole. There is a<br>further service at 6pm. Our attendance on<br>Sunday regularly exceeds 350 people and<br>our reach over a typical month exceeds 400<br>people plus online viewing which is more<br>difficult to measure.  The teaching is bible<br>based and seeks to instruct us in what our<br>lives should demonstrate and how we<br>should interact with family, friends and<br>neighbours etc We have a good range of<br>young people activities including Sunday<br>provision and midweek groups We run a<br>number of courses for people interested in<br>Christianity and at different points in their<br>journey including Christianity explored,<br>hope explored and discipleship explored<br>Our midweek connect groups meet across<br>Norwich and district and give an opportunity<br>to meet in smaller groups in informal setting<br>to make friends, study the bible and pray<br>From time to time there are special events<br>such as Summerfest|
