This is a group designed particularly<br>for those who live locally to Surrey Chapel and<br>is an opportunity to get together to eat and to<br>study the bible. Our Christians against poverty<br>job club aims to provide and teach skills to<br>individuals who are struggling to find work; we<br>help them to build skills and confidence to aid<br>their search for employment Our Christians<br>against poverty debt centre provides coaches<br>to help those who struggle to arrange and<br>maintain their finances and who consequently<br>fall into debt<br>We support various individuals and<br>organisations locally nationally and<br>internationally in their carrying out of mission<br>activities including Tearfund, Norwich youth for<br>Christ, Friends International New Tribes<br>Mission and MAF|

The<br>services at 9:30 and 11:15 are identical and<br>developed as a result of the pandemic. The<br>numbers that attend are higher than would be<br>able to fit in the building together.<br>Refreshments are served between the two<br>services which provides a valuable time to mix<br>and develop friendships and ensures people<br>feel a sense of belonging to the whole. There is<br>a further service at 6pm. Our reach over a<br>typical month now exceeds 300 people<br>The teaching is bible based and seeks to<br>instruct us in what our lives should<br>demonstrate and how we should interact with<br>family,friends and neighbours etc|





We have a good range of young people activities including Sunday provision and midweek groups We run a number of courses for people interested in Christianity and at different points in their journey including Christianity explored, hope explored and discipleship explored Our midweek connect groups meet across Norwich and district and give an opportunity to meet in smaller groups in informal setting to make friends study the bible and pray Our work through Christians against poverty continues through our job club and debt centre. In addition we run CAP money courses for those who struggle to manage their finances
