Financial review
Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period
The past year has been one of strong financial performance, combined with exceptional teamwork across The Wonder Years. Thanks to the collective effort from our leadership team, committee, staff and volunteers, we’ve not only met our financial goals but also laid a solid foundation for continued stability and growth within the setting. Spend has been well managed throughout the year, with less investment required for infrastructure due to improvements made in 2023.
Another fantastic year of community fundraising with a Bingo night, Halloween Disco, Easter Garden party, Football refreshments and race night, supported by some additional match funding to date a total of over £2,000..
Thanks go to the Parish Council grant of £1,121 which helped acquire planters, weatherproof bean bags and folding tables, further enhancing the wonderful outdoor space for all the children to enjoy.
