The charity is established to raise funds to construct and maintain a permanent memorial in the London Borough of Barnet to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II the benefit to the public including the construction of a gateway to enhance the appearance of the Borough to remind present and future generations of their heritage as residents of Great Britain.
Objects: 1) To Advance Education In The History And Heritage Of The Period Of Time Of The Reign Of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Ii For The Benefit Of The Public By The Creation, Erection And Maintenance Of A Permanent Memorial, Commemorating The Diamond Jubilee Of Her Majesty, In The London Borough Of Barnet And By The Provision And Maintenance Of Such Resources As Are Capable Of Furthering This Object2) To Promote Good Citizenship Through The Said Memorial And By Commemorating The Service Of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Ii And People From The Barnet Area To The United Kingdom3) To Promote The Enhancement, Improvement Of The London Borough Of Barnet For The Benefit Of Its Inhabitants And The Wider Public
