Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Improve The Conditions Of Life Generally And To Carry On, Primarily But Not Exclusively For The Benefit Of Those Living In The Local Authority Area Of Devon ("The Area Of Benefit") All Or Any Of The Following Charitable Purposes:1) The Relief Of Financial Hardship And The Advancement Of Health, Education, Training Or Retraining In Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Communities And Amongst Those Who Are Socially And Economically Deprived, In Particular Amongst Those Who Live In Social Housing Or Who Are Unable To Secure Suitable Accommodation From Their Own Means;2) To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Recreational Facilities For The Public Benefit For Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Condition Of Life.
