Accounting convention
The accounts have beefi prepared under the historical cost convention.
Flxed Ossets
It is the policy of the Buckingham Community Hall Association to write off all refurbishment works and capital
Improvements in the year of expendrture.
Rental income from the letting of the community centre is recognised on the date of hire.Deposits for hiring the
community centre after the accountin8 period are accounted for in current li3bilEties.
Grants received and donations are credited to income in the accounting period in whith agreed.
Expendlture
Expenditure is reflected In the accounts when pa￿ent made. apart from wages and pensions
and outstanding paymerits on trade creditors.
