as Trustee Directors, consider Ihal these a￿[vi￿.eS and programs satisfy the requirernenls of the Chartly Commission's
guidance on public benefrt.
Objectives and aims
The iruslees have considered the Charity Commislon's gUA4an￿ on pubfic L*nefit. including the guidance 'public benefrt..
running a charity IP821'.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
This year Saw many challenges and cthtacles being raised to our efforts in progressing our object¢ves. The Football
Foundation and Wolverhampton Counal ￿t viith the Coal Authority and concluded that they could not support our requests
for assistan￿ with an artificial pitch or car Pa￿ due to the cosl of capping mine shafts. This leaves us with very little
opportunity to improve the stadium as the ￿sts of ffinding arKJ capping the shafts are proh￿Itive. How8ver, will plough on
and focus Dn what we can achi6v•.
The Charity Commission and the Financial Conducl Authority were in tall(s about the best way to progress with the Fan
Ownership model, with the Football SupForters Association being of great assistance. We shouK4 be in a position to launch
this model towards the end of 2024.
On the pitch we had another good year wilh our new management team finding their feet and taking great strides forward,
with the addition of new teams into ourjunior section. We hope to see this gmw further.
Slgnlfi¢ant a¢livltie8
Whilst the Charity plan to maintain the partherships and initiatives already established. it will also look to expand on the
numbers that participate in various events.
Achlevements agaln8t objectiV95
Our main objective was keeping the Club going due to lower income and higher malchday expenditure levels.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
For the second year a net defi¢it was recorded due to lower than expe&ed income ffigures. We believe some of this is due to
the cost of living crisis and expecl il to conlinue for Ihe foreseaable fvture. Howgver. ￿ Gonlinue to explore ngw revenue
st￿aM$ and we are confident ihat this
current trend of deficitis can be reversed. A net defiut of £8.945was recorded
cornpa￿d lo £9.49912023).
R•8•rve$
The cJJrrent levels of reserves are currentty sufficpnt to meet next season's expenditure a5 conlinuallly seek tcj raise
more funds during the 2024125 season.
