The numbers**<br>**of both were significantly above 2021.**<br>**The show had a full range of activities**<br>**and local businesses attending**<br>**including a farmers market, trade and**<br>**catering stands, show jumping, sheep**<br>**dog trials, gun dog display, hawking,**<br>**walling competition, a full range of**<br>**produce and livestock exhibits and**<br>**various fun competitions for visitors.**<br>**Our livestock categories influence the**<br>**farming committee in deciding what**<br>**they themselves may farm and are great**<br>**attraction to visitors.**<br>**The show attracts a wide range of**<br>**visitors from the local and farming**<br>**communities together with tourists**<br>**visiting the Yorkshire Dales.**<br>**The Committee believe the Show is vital**<br>**in encouraging young farmers and we**<br>**make donations to a range of**<br>**organisations connected to farming and**<br>**the local community including the local**<br>**school, young farmers organisation, the**<br>**cave and fell rescue organisation and**<br>**Yorkshire Air Ambulance.**|

## **Financial Review**

The accounts**<br>**show a surplus of £32,673 for the year**<br>**and our balance sheet is robust with**<br>**£111,166 in reserve across our current**<br>**account and savings policies.**|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **DD / MM / YYYY** . 

As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out  under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
