The committee is responsible for maintaining the building, fixture and fittings and seek to use local tradesmen to keep the cost to a minimum and this helps the economy of the village

## Review of the Year

Because of the Covid restrictions the Management Committee have been unable to hold face-to-face meetings and have been contacted by telephone and kept up to date with the finances and consulted about important issues which have arisen with the building. When the lockdown was eased four of the regular groups who use the venue have returned and the Parish Council is using Wheatley House to hold their meetings, all of which are adhering to social distancing, hand sanitising and the wearing of masks while walking around. Funeral teas have been held and the Undertakers ensured that the numbers were limited and the catering delivered to the hall met the guidelines. The building was used as a Polling Station and hand sanitisers were placed at the entrance and exit and arrows marked out the one-way traffic system. Wheatley House Moving Forward qualified for the Covid Rate Rebate Scheme which

## Plans for the Future

The Management Committee is planning to re-instate the monthly coffee mornings and to hold social evenings so that the residents who may be lonely know that they will be made welcome to come and meet socially in a safe environment. These events have been well supported over the past years and the Committee is looking forward to organising them in the future. The Chair Aerobic class will be contacted once all restrictions are lifted and everything is back to normal
