**Objects:** 1.PRESERVE GOOD MENTAL HEALTH BY PROMOTING, SUPPORTING AND ENCOURAGING RESEARCH INTO FORENSIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AND THE USERS OF THOSE SERVICES, AND INTO THE NATURE, CAUSE AND DIAGNOSIS, MEANS OF PREVENTION, MANAGEMENT AND TREATMENT OF PEOPLE WHO SUFFER FROM MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS AND ARE VIOLENT AND/OR COMMIT CRIME AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.2.ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT (AND PARTICULARLY THOSE SUFFERING FROM MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS) ON THE SUBJECT OF FORENSIC MENTAL HEALTH AND CURRENT ISSUES IN THIS FIELD.
