**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF THE DUE EAST AREA OF BRIGHTON AND HOVE (WHITEHAWK, MANOR FARM, BRISTOL ESTATE AND SURROUNDING AREAS) IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY.

**Activities:** Operating in the estates of Whitehawk, Manor Farm, and the Bristol Estate in Brighton and Hove.   DueEast continues the work of the Neighbourhood Governance pilot promoting local decision making by local people.  This is a resident led organisation that promotes its area of operation, tackles exclusion, and maximises resources available to the area
