The Trustees present their annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024.
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the receipts and payments basis in accordance with the Charity
Commission guidance

The Charlty is a Trust formed by a Trust Deed dated 24th February 2013. The Trust registered wlth the Charity Commission as
charity on the 16 January 2014.
Trustees are legally responsible for the governance and management of the charSty.

Risk management
The charlty's trustees have considered the malor rlsks to which the charity Ss exposed and have revlewed potentlal risks.
Systems and procedures have been put In place to manage the risks and to mltlgate any adverse outcomes.

The charlty using Its network and contact5 in Bangladesh vets needy people and spends the money only when the trustees
are satlsfled on the use of f unds. During the past perlods the focus has been on Identlfy the need and the charlty Intends to
spend the funds In the next perlod.

Durlng the perlod, the Trust recelved sadqa and zakat of £52k12023.. £54kl to eradlcate poverty In Bangladesh and to promote
educatlon. The expenditure Sn the year was £18k12023'. £30kl for varlous prolects in 8angladesh.

The Trust has sufflclent reserve to contlnue Its actlvltles for the foreseeable future.
Future plan
The charity Intends to increase its activities in future years.

Trustees, responsibilities statement
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Annual Report and the financlal statements in accordance wlth
applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
The law applicable to charities In England & Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each flnancial
year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resources and appllcation of
resources of the charity for that period. In preparing these financial Statements, the trustees are required to:
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistentlyi
observe the methods 3 nd principles in the Charitles SORP,,
make judgements and e5tlmates that are reasonable and prudent,.
state whether applScable accountlng Standards have been followed, subject to any materlal departure5
disclosed and explained in the financial statements,.
prepare the financial statements on the golng concern basls unless It Is Inappropriate to presume that
the charity will Continue in operation.
The trustees are re5ponslble for keeping proper accounting record5 that dlsc105e wlth reasonable accuracy at any tlme the
flnanclal posltlon of the charlty and enable them to ensure that the financSal statements comply wlth the Charltles Act 2011,
the CharSty (Accounts and Reports) Regu12tlons 2008 and the provlslons of the trust deed. They are also responslble for
safeguarding the assets of the charlty and hence for taklng reasonable steps for the preventlon and detectlon of fraud and
other irregularities

I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2024 whlch 3re set out on page 7 and 8.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examlner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not
required for this year under Section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Actl and that an Independent examlnation Is
needed.

follow the procedures laid down In the general Dlrectlons given by the Charity Commisslon under sectlon 14515llbl of

(a) Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the receipts and payments basis in accordance wlth the Charity
Commission guidance.
(b) Charlty status
Al Ihsan Foundation Trust was establlshed under a trust deed and is a registered with the Charlty Commisslon under the
reference of 1155353. The Trustees are appolnted and functlon In accordance with the Constltutlon.
(cl Fund atcounting
General funds are unrestrlcted f unds which are available for use at the dSscretion of the trustees In furtherance of the general
objectives of the charlty and which have not been designated for other purposes,
Restrlcted funds are funds whlch are to be used In accordance wlth specSflc restrlctlons Imposed by donors tsr whlch have
been ralsed by the charlty for partlcular purposes. The cost of raising and admlnisterlng such funds are char8ed agalnst the
speclflc fund. The alm and use of each restricted fund Is set out In the notes to the flnancial statements.
