I rewrt to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
Gharity I'the Trust") for the year ended
Responsibilltles and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 ("the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination. I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charrty Commission
under section 145(5){bl of the AGt.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
ome to my attenbon (other than that disclosed below ") in connection with
the examinalion which gives me cause to believe that in, any material

This report has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011.
The full name of the charity is Ozero Arts and the registered charity number is 1155338. The
principal address of the charity is Ozero Arts. c/0 CMS, 78 Cannon Street, London, EC4N 6AF.
The charitys governing document is its Trust Deed which was approved by the original
Trustees on 20 March 2012. This document vests the management of Ozero Arts solely in the
trustees. The names of the officers of the charity, who are legally responsible for the control
and management ofthe charity are as follows,.

The Trustees are elected by the existinggroup of Trustees and are required to have a minimum
oftwo meetings a year.

The principal objective of the charity is to promote, maintain and advance education in and
appreciation of music - and the arts more generally - in all its aspects by the presentation of
orchestral concerts and other public musical and performances and artistic projects.-
Ozero Arts, primary activity in 2023 was support for Classical Pride- the first Pride concert put
on byany major orchestra orconcert hall outside the US. This concertwas undertaken by Ozero
Records [of which Oliver Zeffman is a director), with Ozero Arts acting as a fundraising body
for the event. Ozero Arts received £53,927 in donations towards Classical Pride of which
£52,070 was
passed
on
to
Ozero
Records
to
undertake
the
concert.
Classical Pride was deemed to be a major success, with hugely favourable press and reviews
and
much
positive
feedback
from
audience
and
industry
figures.
Separately, Ozero Arts provided £1,000 in supportof Spotlight Chamberconcerts sourced from
a donation of £1,000.

During 2023, the trustees also agreed to rename the charity from Melos Sinfonia to Ozero Arts
to better reflect the change from a youth orchestra to an organisation that conceives and funds
ambitious artistic projects.
Off the back ofthe succe55 of the first Classical Pride. Ozero Arts will again be working with Oxero
Records to produce a larger scale Classical Pride event in 2024.
The Trustees have a duty to identify and review the risks to which the charity Is exposed and
to ensure appropriate controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance against fraud and
error. We consider that the systems we h3ve in place to mitigate such risks appear to be
adequate in normal circumstances.

In accordance with the requirements of the Charlties Act 2011 and the associated Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008. the Trustees confirni that they have complied with
their duties to have due regard to the guidance on public benefjt as published by the Charity
Commission, in exercising their powers and duties in the year under review.

BASIS OF ACCOUNTING
The charity has prepared its accounts in accordance with Section 133 of the Charities Act 20 11
and has prepared a receipts and payments account,which accounts for incomeand expenditure
on a cash received or paid basis, rather than on an accruals basis.
The receipt and payments account has been analysed between the general fund and restricted
funds. The latter arise where the donor specifies the purpose for which the donation has been
given, and are for such matters as a specific projecL

PAYMENTS FOR CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES
The total payments for charitable activities were £53.070 of which £1,000 was in respect of
Spotlight Chamber Concerts. The remaining £52,070 was paid to Ozero Records Limited under
a Production Services Agreement in connection with the production of Classical Pride.
