## Activities

**Objects:** 2.1 The Objects of the Charity are the prevention or relief of poverty, in particular (but not exclusively) by:(a) providing fit for purpose food products and other goods from industry donations and partners directly to economically disadvantaged individuals and families within the communities of Devon and Cornwall, and to organisations working with them; and(b) undertaking activities which raise awareness of and/or seek to reduce food poverty, in particular by promoting and supporting the reduction of food waste.

**Activities:** DCFA redistributes donated surplus food to families and individuals experiencing food poverty in Devon and Cornwall, thereby both saving perfectly edible food from going to landfill and feeding people who are in most of need of the food. All of the surplus food which is donated to DCFA is sourced from supermarkets, other branded food producers, farmers and growers.
