All<br>staff members are expected to complete and<br>keep up to date safeguarding and Paediatric<br>first aid training.  The preschool has<br>promoted their education by assessing all<br>the children in the prime (U3) and specific<br>areas of learning and their starting points<br>noted. We monitor closely any<br>developmental areas of concern and provide<br>directed teaching to support each child to<br>improve on these areas and continue to<br>thrive. The preschool has promoted the<br>children’shealthandwell-being by providing|

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21  The preschool made a surplus of £12500<br>financial position at the end  due to a managing child to staff ratios<br>of the period  closely, fundraising, introduction of early<br>morning drop off, extra sessions outside of<br>the normal term and a Covid grant from the<br>council. e during this time.<br>Statement explaining the  Para 1.22  The Preschool Learning Alliance<br>policy for holding reserves  recommends holding 3 months running costs<br>stating why they are held  in reserve – approximately £32,000.  We<br>prefer to have about 6 months.<br>Amount of reserves held  Para 1.22  £89,226. The committee has ringfenced<br>cash in excess of the reserves policy in<br>order to fund on-going improvement projects<br>to the buildings and garden.
