WRAP Annual Finance and Statistics Report September 2024 to August 2025
The past year saw us moving site again, but despite the resulting closure, the footfall overall was the highest to date, with 5760 members and volunteers visiting the warehouse.

In the 3¼ months we have been in Croxley there has been a big increase in members coming to the warehouse. July and August 2025 had the highest footfall recorded for Wrap (1380 people visits in the two months), with 152 people either joining or renewing their subscriptions. Whilst rejoicing at the growing popularity of WRAP, this does bring added pressure on the volunteer staff handling the work. Despite one new volunteer, there has been an overall decrease in the total this year due to health and mortality issues, and the majority of those working so hard are over 70 years of age.

Despite the move, and closure for a month, our income for the year was £824 more than our expenses. Obviously we are clearly not a profit-making organisation, but are thankful to have sufficient funds in hand for our needs and commitments. Moving costs totalled £4546, which (in the light of previous moves) was very reasonable, but does not reflect the enormous physical effort expended by the volunteer helpers who made it possible.
There have been few workshop activities this year but, as we move into slightly more permanent accommodation in September, perhaps that will be an area that can expand.
