SEATON COMMUNITY CENTRE
2024 - 2025
Another successful and busy year.
Maintenance and compliance were a large part of the
action needed, but were carried out satisfactorily. Manv
activities are carried out regularly e.g. Playgroup,
Childminders, Line dance, U3A Sewing groups, Yoga,
Bowls, Bonsai and monthly Parish Council meetings. The
Centre is also hired for elections, family gatherings,
parties and funerals, music practice, dance practice ect.
A one off event hosted in the centre along with the local
council to honour airman, Canadian and British who
were killed nearby in a WW2 bomber crash. This was
attended by a member of the Canadian Airforce, local
councillors and Air Cadets.
A new storage cupboard was built enabling the hall to
be more organised and tidier.
A complete new fire risk assessment was prepared and
the music licence up dated.
The centre strives to be an asset to the local and
surrounding areas, hopefully it achieves its aim and will
continue to do so for many years to come.
