SEATON COMMUNITY CENTRE 2023---2024 As in previous years the Community Centre was maintained to a very high standard including decoration to the inside and outside of the building. The fascia boards were renewed and a new outside light was fitted. The ground surrounding the building was also cleaned. varied selection of activities takes place regularly including Playgroup, Line Dancing, Yoga, Bowls, and Bonsai, the Parish Council meetings are held monthly. The hall remains popular for both adult and children's parties. A local theatre group hired the hall whist their venue was closed. Sewing and Quilting groups are held by the U3A. One of the most significant events of the year was a very successful and well attended Coronation Tea party. As in previous years the Parish Council organized an outdoor Carol Service and refreshments were served in the Community Centre afterwards. Several Public Meeting were held in the hall to discuss proposed new housing developments. A RAAC survey was carried out satisfactorily. Whilst the Community Centre continues to thrive new committee members are required to take us forward.
