**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE AREA MEETING IS THE FURTHERANCE OF THE GENERAL RELIGIOUS AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE RELIGIOUS SOCIETY OF FRIENDS (QUAKERS) IN BRITAIN IN THE AREA OF THE AREA MEETING AND BEYOND.

**Activities:** Furtherance of the religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in the area of the Area Meeting (Taunton, Bridgwater, Minehead, Ilminster, Burnham-on-Sea, Wellington, Uffington and around) and beyond. Seven local Quaker Meetings are supported and enabled to work together to provide Meetings for Worship and witness. Meeting Houses are let to local organisations.
