|The Trigeminal<br>Neuralgia<br>Association<br>UK exists to bring<br>the relief of those suffering||from|Trigeminal||||||Neuralgia|||(TN)||
|and the for the promotion<br>of sn improved<br>quality of life in respect of this condition,<br>in|particular|||by:||||||||||
|a) providing<br>evidence-based<br>information,<br>support<br>and encouragement<br>and<br>adding||to the|body||of||knowledge|||||about||
|Trigeminal<br>Neuralgia;||||||||||||||
|b) to provide support,<br>information<br>and advice (other than medical<br>advice) to people suffering|||from||TN;|||||||||
|c) to raise awareness<br>of TN, its symptoms,<br>management<br>snd treatment,<br>d) to support<br>research projects deemed<br>beneficial<br>to Trigeminal<br>Neuralgia<br>sufferers|without||separately|||||campaigning|||||for|
|research<br>funds.<br>However,<br>it is at the discretion<br>of the Trustees as to whether<br>further||support||for|a|particular|||||project||is|
|of such importance<br>that it warrants<br>the charity<br>raising<br>additional<br>funds for research.||||||||||||||
|The charity's<br>services<br>are applied<br>throughout<br>England<br>and Wales,<br>Northern<br>Ireland||and Scotland|||||and has||||UK-wide|||
|membership.||||||||||||||
|In addition<br>to its general<br>charitable<br>purposes,<br>TNA<br>UK also contributes<br>to public||benefft||by|providing||||||advocacy,|||
|education<br>and training.||||||||||||||
|TNA UK maintains<br>s small staff team<br>and provides a UK-wide<br>helpline<br>service staffed||by volunteers,|||||including||||trustees,|||
|for the purpose<br>of support<br>and counselling<br>to members<br>and other sufferers.||||||||||||||

|This financial<br>year has seen growth<br>and development<br>in several areas of TNA's work.||Notably||we.||||||||||
