Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Our mission is to transform the futures of
children in Africa, breaking the chains of
poverty that trap them in cycles of
hopelessness and despair. We do this by
providing more than just the basics—food,
clothing, shelter, and protection—we offer
them a chance at a better life through
education.
Our focus is on the most vulnerable, those
from backgrounds so disadvantaged that
without intervention, they could easily end
up on the streets or facing even graver
circumstances.

Achievements against
objectives set
Para 1.41 Towards the end of 2024, as a result of
fires at other schools in Kenya, the Ministry
of Education set new requirements which
resulted in a major fundraising campaign
from the end of 2024 into early 2025.
Many schools closed because they could
not meet these new regulations. We
successfully raised sufficient funds to keep
the school open.
