LA SERENISSIMA AIMS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC, AND IN PARTICULAR OF HISTORICALLY AWARE MUSICAL PERFORMANCE, BY THE PRESENTATION OF CONCERTS, RECITALS AND LECTURES, PUBLICATION OF MATERIALS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. IN PARTICULAR THE REPERTOIRE PROMOTED BY THE ENSEMBLE WILL FOCUS ON THE MUSIC OF ANTONIO VIVALDI AND HIS ITALIAN CONTEMPORARIES.
Objects: The Charity's Objects Are Specifically Restricted To The Following: To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Art And Science Of Music, And In Particular Of Historically Aware Musical Performance, By The Presentation Of Concerts, Recitals And Lectures, Publication Of Materials And Other Activities. In Particular The Repertoire Promoted By The Ensemble Will Focus On The Music Of Antonio Vivaldi And His Italian Contemporaries Which Had Such A Profound Effect On The Genres Of Concerto And Opera.
