Achievements and Performance
This year has seen a gradual return to
nonnality after the disruptions suffered
because of Covid-19 in pr8vious years.
Village Hall users are still encouraged to
follow some of the Covid-19 best-practices,
such as keeping rooms vRII-ventilated and
using harvj-sanrtiser when entering the
building. The hall continues to provide
spacious, attractive modem mu￿1-pUrpose
facilities for the residents on
BroadheM￿ton.
All regular activitie6 at the Village Hall have
restarted. There y￿re also successful jazz
evenings organised by some of th8 Trustees
during the year. The Trust underwrote these
events and all did better than break evèn.
These offered an enjoyable nights out at an
affordable price for residents and those from
further afiekl.
The playing fiekl has been well-maintained
and is well-used by residents, including dog-
walkers. The tennis ￿urt has woven very
popular, with the number of us8r8 increasing
8bgnificantly after Covid lockdowns. The
local football team also u8e$ the field for
home matches and for these past 4 years
another local junior football team has a180
used the fiekl for its home matches.

The Trustees have acted to maintain the
Village Hall to a high standard to ensure the
facilities offer something for the widest
audience.
The grounds of the hall are also attractively
landscaped, with some of the ¢are
undertaken by a team of l¢xal volunteer8.

As is mentioned elsewhere, the Trust has
been made a beneficiary of the eatate of
Michael Bond, with £25.0(J) being made

have therefore decided that the whole of this
