Section D Achievements and performance

The year saw the Hub recover to its optimal best from the day it opened in September 2017 featuring a wide variety of events both private and charitable, offering something for everyone. It saw the completion of the cricket practice net area and the installation of a new batting cage which has proved to be exceptionally popular with the younger members of the cricketing club, allowing them to practice whenever they want in a safe environment. The newly installed solar panels and the additional energy storage capacity has meant that across the year 72% of the Hubs energy is from the system installed in / at & on the building, a significant annual saving. Financially the hub has enjoyed another good year with the income from the bar proving to be a mainstay of the operation. Thanks as ever have to be given to the volunteers without whom the Hub would struggle to deliver all that it does for the community and the public at large.
