## **FRIENDS OF CHESSWOOD ANNUAL REPORT 2021/22** 

Thank  you  to  everyone  who  has  been  involved  with  the  Friends  of Chesswood School over the last year, for their help and support.  There has been fantastic support from a small but dedicated team and without this Friends of Chesswood would not be as successful as it is.  We are hoping to recruit more parents over the coming year to ensure Friends of Chesswood has continued success in the years to come. 

During the year we raised funds in the following ways:

We started the school year with  £6,728.06 in the account and following our fundraising as above and the payments made out over the year we are  finishing  the  2021/22  school  year  with  a  healthy  balance  of **£17,249.08** in the Friends of Chesswood account. 

We  are  looking  at  how  best  to  use  these  funds  to  enhance  our playgrounds  and  outdoor  spaces  for  the  children  with  items  such  as climbing walls and other outdoor equipment.   We have also been asked to fund playground games and sports equipment for use  during breaktimes to provide more structured play for those who benefit from it. 

All of the above would not have been possible without the support and generosity of all those families and friends of the Friends of Chesswood, for which we are most grateful. 

This Report and the Annual Accounts are available to view in detail and I wish to verify that it as an accurate record of the events of the last year.
