**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:(A)THE RELIEF AND SUPPORT OF INHABITANTS OF THE CITY OF SHEFFIELD AND ITS ENVIRONS (“THE AREA OF BENEFIT”) WHO ARE REFUGEES OR WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN ASYLUM SEEKERS (INCLUDING THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE AT THE END OF THE ASYLUM PROCESS OR HAVE HAD THEIR APPLICATIONS FOR ASYLUM REFUSED) AND ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP, DISTRESS OR SOCIAL ISOLATION; AND(B)THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, OTHER STATUTORY AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS IN ORDER TO ASSIST THE INCLUSION OF SUCH INHABITANTS INTO THE WIDER COMMUNITY.
