Kepha Ministries Trustees Report 2023

During 2023 we continued our practical support, services and ministries to Farsi speakers across the city of London with reaching out to Farsi speakers and a large number of asylum seekers and refugees in need of support. We had a wonderful Norouz (Persian New Year) celebration on 17th March with more than 110 guests attendance and a joyful occasion for everyone meet and enjoy Persian hospitality and music and culture together.

Later in the year, we started our Discipleship courses at two locations, St Luke’s Earls Court and Hope Church Hounslow. At St luke’s Earl Court we continued our Weekly discipleship courses and monthly worship services. At Hope Church Hounslow, we started a new weekly discipleship course which gathered about 15 Persians from the neighbourhood and beyond. This grew to a good size group in which we had opportunities for growth in Christian faith and building a Persian community which later on led to baptism for a number of them. In 2023, we had a significant growth in our services both in terms of number of people attending, and the number of locations we were able to offer our support in partnership with the local parishes.
