BUILDING BRIDGES FOR PEACE ADVANCES CONFLICT TRANSFORMATION BY ENABLING THOSE INVOLVED IN HOSTILITIES TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE AND REVENGE BY APPRECIATING THE HUMANITY OF THEIR OPPONENTS AND THE POWER OF EMPATHY.WE EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE ROOTS OF WAR, TERRORISM AND VIOLENCE;AND PROMOTE, DIALOGUE AND MEDIATION AS TO THE MEANS OF PEACE IN SITUATIONS OF CONFLICT.

Objects: To Advance Education And Training Concerning The Resolution Of Conflicts Connected To War, Terrorism And Violence; And In Particular To Promote Understanding Of The Nature And Causes Of Any Such Conflicts And Of The Means Of Managing Disputes Or Conflicts For The Purpose Of Promoting Dialogue And Mediation And Other Non-Violent Expedients To Achieve Peace In Situations Of Conflict.
