**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE:-(A) TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF CHORAL MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS AND BY ANY MEANS THE TRUSTEES SHALL THINK FIT, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS.(B) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL THINK FIT BUT IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS.

**Activities:** The activities of the Launceston Choral Society are as follows:1. Rehearse selected classical choral works and sing them at concert to a paying audience, usually at the Central Methodist Church Launceston.2. Three works are performed annually, plus a Christmas Concert also with a paying audience.
