**Activities:** Relieves the suffering caused by substance misuse by providing help, support and advice to the families and friends of substance misusers and in addition gives supplementary help to substance misuers.Advances education in all aspects of drug abuse and addictive behaviours, its causes, remedy, prevention and the caring associated with substance misuse.
