During the fjrst Iwkdown ith 2020. Young Healthwaich volunteers published a r¢F<>rt ¢aJled Trlome B￿n￿5
School,. Following the rnany challenges faccd by young p￿pIC since that um< relating to education and
demanits at schcM)I, the young voluntecTS Waftt￿ to determine how well thls had adaptoj to the changing
¢ircum*aJJces. A sllrvty was design￿ in (￿OI￿r 2021 to addrtss the isA]u atkl conccms young people bad
alK>ut retwning to school. The results sIK)wd that many youn8 pcople had concerns a]J)ut their mcDtai health
and feeling safe. They also felt that latera] flow t¢5t rtyuirements were not being adhered to. The fina] repojts

experience.

were able to gather more reviews and provi¢k 8 better, MO￿ efficient 5crvic4 s￿] help to improve the mental
health and wdlbeing of young Fwle in Centra] Bedfordshirc.

ting disorders. For sometime eating disorders amongst young pts)ple has been incrasing, even more so durin8

Thanks to a Cheering Voluntccr Grani from CcntTa] B￿f0rdshirc Council, Yout)8 He£ithw4t¢h were able to deliver
trainin8 for young people in C8rdiopulmoDary R¢sus¢itation (CPR) to many y1)u￿g people ac]D&s Centraj
Bedfordshire. Young Hea]thwatch voluntttrs were initia]ly traind by the Briiish HcaJt Foundatio￿ and with the
￿p[￿rt of a traitiuw ￿de0. rolled out lifesaving training across cent￿ Bedfor¢lshire lo youth ￿0Up5, Sch￿]S,
colleges and i)ther wific CPR ttainin8 ¢vents facilitated by Young Healthwatch. Trdining was deliver￿1 to young
pg)ple in the age rdng¢ 14- 18+. target was lo train 320 young pcopl¢ in Centt71 Bedfordshirc in th¢ life saving
