company for the purposes of company law), you are r6sponsible for the
preparation of the accounts in accordance with th8 requlrements of the
Companies Ad 2006 ("the 2006 Acr).
Having sallsfied myseK that the accounts of the Company are not requlred
to be audited for this year under Part 16 of the 2006 Act and are ellgible for
Independent examination, I report In rospect of my 8xamination of your
¢hariVs accounts as carried out under Section 145 of the Charitles Act 2011
("the 2011 Acl"). In carying out my examination, I have followed thé
Directions given by the Charlty Commlssion (under section 145(5)(b) of the
2011 Act.

come to my attention which glves me cause to believe that..

Oblertives and Attivltles
Hereford in Bloom has contlnued to maintain the flower baskets and beds throughout the year.
Athlevements and Performance
Heart of England in Bloom has awarded Hereford, a Gold Award for 2023. Hereford In Bloom would
like to thank all the 8roup5 of volunteers whlch helped the City, to achleve thls coveted award. Heart
of En8land Judges We￿ Impressed wilh other charitsble projects we vlslted. Two lfi particular: St
Mlchaels Hosplce and St Thomas Cantslupe C of E Academy who obtsined speclal Heart of En8land
Indlvldual awards.
Posslbty one of our most successful years to date. wlth a dlfficult one to follow.
The enthuslasm of the volunteers vtho have weeded. mulched, malntalned and watered flower beds
and baskets throu8hout the year In all weathers. New volunteers are alway5 needed but the current
trend In the wider community for 8reener spaces has ￿$￿Ited In a severe shortage.
Cooperation with Hereford County and City Counclls also helped to assist Improvin8 the look of our
Clty by hedge and 8rass cuttlng. The instsllation of the wooden planters across the Clty Improved the
envlronment not only by helplng to reduce carbon monoxide and increase oxygen levels but a150 to
provide a greener look.
