company for the purposes of company lawl, you are responsible for the
preparation of the accounts in accordance with thg requirements of the
Companies Act 2CQ8 ("Ihe 2006 Acri.
Havtng satisfied rnyself that the accounts of the Comp8ny are not required
to be audited for this year under Part 16 of the 2006 Act and are eligible for
independent examination. I report in respect of my examinatlon of your
charity's accounts as ca￿led out under section 145 of the Charltles Act 2011
(°the 2011 Acf). In carying out my 8xamination, I have followed the
Directlons glven by the Charlty Commission (under seGtion 145151(b) of the

Oblertives and Activltles
Hereford, an Important reglonal Cent￿ like others In Britsin, Is trylng to keep up wlth the challenges
belng presented with the push for 8reener spaces and carbon free streets. As the debate continues
the Hereford In Bloom team meets weekly throughout the year to malntain the attractlon of the Clty
by weedin& pruning plantlng flower beds and baskets. Arran8ing for contractors to mow the grass on
roundabouts , and obtalnSng help from the Iltter pickln8 8roup. All thls, helplng to make Hereford
environmentally a better place in which to Ilve and work.
Achlevements And Performance
Much has recently been achleved, partlcularly wlth Improved co-operation between the Hereford Clty
Councll, Herefordshlre County Council and BID.
Our asslstsnce In watering and malntalnlng the 95 planters has helped to Improve the Clty's
envlronment. An exctt6ng new prolect has been dlscussed with Hereford City Councll to completely
Juvenate the City's flower beds. The Idea Isto plant. wlth an Aslan theme, shrubs and sensoryflowers
whlch a￿ tolerant to the UK'S chan8ln8 weather condltions.
HIB'S loyal tearn of volunteers contlnue to turn out vfftkly. throughout the year, to weed, replace
plants where necessary and mulch. None of the above would be posslble wlthout their conslstent help.
Notwithstandin8 the external envimnment debate, HIB has a vlbrant team which 15 in exceptional
shape to condnue worklng for next year's bloomin8 display.
