in 2013 by paying off the fin￿ repaywtt of the major refurtxshment k)an to the Almshouses
Association in June 2023. This has not imtmnwj (ffi its tradi11cm￿ role of an Almshouse Charity.

replacement of all the front do(Ys and wind(A¥& lterrms￿l intemat repay works. arKI ￿placement

day to day running of the propwi*s arKI the wellbeing of its residents.
The Trnstees are tt￿refOre pleased to c(rfKm that it is fulty S￿CeedIng in its charitable objects
and is still financhqlly secure.
Financial review

Grants paid out to ￿￿titutIO￿$ over past iwo years frc#n the restricted New Hall Fund have
exceeded the income. resulting in a rwatNe balaf￿ at the 31X December 2023 01 r3,696131"

and have elected. within the temis of the fu￿1& thatam fubJegrantswil be madefrom unrestricted
funds in order to preserve the reStr￿d New Hall FurKI.

The Charity received a 10 year interest free loan of £41000 from the Almsh￿ AS￿latIOn in
2023. which is being repaid ￿ asix ThhJntNycyde. The totd arrKyJntoutstsnding asat31 December
2023 amounted to £42,000. The Trustees trkgve consider&1 the tem)s and Co￿11t￿)nS of the loan
a￿1 do not iElieve the repayments *ryll have a signiknt impact on the rescmjrces available for
general application.

The trustees have assessed the maiLY risks to whth the charity is exposed and are satisfied that
