||For the year to 31 December 2021, for the public benefit, the charity
continued to run youth workshops and educational programs focused on
art, music, creativity and creative learning. A new topic that was
introduced is coding, with great success.
These workshops are designed to foster healthy social interaction and
self-expression.
In addition, we have trained adults to build capacity among adults to
become facilitators working with children and young people for our youth
programs and other organisations.
In performing these Activities in furtherance of the charity’s objects the
trustees have had due regard to thecharity commission’s guidance on
public benefit.|

Section D Achievements and performance
Funtasia Education focuses on providing access for children and young people to innovative multidisciplinary educational programs. The goal of these programs is to strengthen life skills among children and young people and build capacity among educators and facilitators. _Funtasia Education_ utilises a multidisciplinary educational approach curated through global collective sources. We make relevant, vibrant content available, which promotes self-directed learning, empathy, sharpens analytical and innovative thinking, communication skills, and supports academic education by improving school attendance and engagement. During 2021 the following activities were implemented: • 2 educational programs for children/youth (participants number 231) • 1 Adult Workshops (participants number 30) • 100 children workshops including “Coding” and "Right to play Football" (participants number 2,125) - The Luxor centre continues to provide quality education for underserved communities. - the Funtasia Educational approach training is available as of November 2021, to teachers from 16 communities schools in Assiut, who are now using these tools and techniques in their daily work. - Funtasia worked in Esna, in collaboration with EL Fawal local NGO, Funtasia provided local teachers with training and workshops in storytelling/public speaking, animal welfare, gardening. - Funtasia continued its’ capacity building work with partner APE (Association for Protection of the Environment) as well as monitoring children workshop run in the partner’s facilities. Through these programs in 2021 Funtasia Impact has reached a total of 2,356 and young people and trained 149 adults in Egypt. _Italy_ We ran 2 main programs (Save The Children and Caffè Vergnano). Save the Children -The project (ET3) is carried out in Italy and will reach approximately 42,000 beneficiaries, including children and youth and 3,500 parents, teachers, facilitators and educators. ET3's main objective is to develop the human and digital skills of children (aged 8 to 14) with a high level of awareness of their needs with a focus on growth mindset and creativity in a perspective of gender inclusion and digital identity related issues. Partnership with Caffè Vergnano - funtasia Impact developed an Educational program around Entrepreneurship with a focus on gender inclusion. The project is an experiential journey implemented in Italian public high schools, that combines strengthening of essential life skills with the opportunity to reflect on the theme of PERSONAL GROWTH AND SELFREALISATION, with reflections and cross-cut on pre-assumptions, prejudices and gender gap.

_Mexico_
Over 52 hours of online Funtasia educational Approach training were delivered for educators based in Xalapa, México in collaboration with the Municipality. Following the capacity building, these educators ran 48 hours each of creative workshops for their youth. Total number 16 adults reached and 140 children.

At the year end the charity’s total funds and free reserves totalled £25,925. **Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves** The organisation's Board of Trustees has decided to roll over funds to the following year to support to extension of the foundation's work beyond any fundraising and cash flow limitations that may arise. ## **Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Funtasia Impact**
I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2021 which are set out on pages 7 to 8.
## **Responsibilities and basis of report**
As the charity’s trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).
I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
## **Independent examiner's statement**
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
