Activities

Being Children is a UK charity, who wish to see a better life for underprivileged slum and street children living in India. We provide these children with a better childhood through education, nutrition, health care, recreational activities and by distributing items like health packs (Soap, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes and Shampoo), clothes, fruit, food and other essentials.

Objects: (1)the Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty And Hardship Among Children And Young People Living On The Streets And In Slums Of India, And Particularly But Not Exclusively Of Goa, By The Provision Of Shelter, Food, Healthcare, Education, Family Reconciliation And Other Such Charitable Services As The Trustees From Time To Time Deem Appropriate. (2)to Advance In Life And Help Young People Living On The Streets And In Slums Of India, And Particularly But Not Exclusively Of Goa Through:(a) The Provision Of Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interest Of Social Welfare, Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life; And )b) Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.
