Fundraising events are organised with the purpose of raising funds to aid young people with disabilities through the provision of facilities, support services and equipment.
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity ('the Objects') Are:1) To Advance In Life And Relieve The Needs Of Young People With Disabilities Through:a) The Provision Of Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interest Of Social Welfare, Deigned To Improve Their Conditions Of Life;b) Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.2) To Help Young People, Especially But Not Exclusively Through Leisure Time Activities, So As To Develop Their Capabilities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society.3) To Act As A Resource For Young People Living In Yorkshire By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organisation Programmes Of Physical, Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:a) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals.4) To Assist In The Treatment And Care Of Persons Suffering From Mental Or Physical Illness Of Any Description Or In Need Of Rehabilitation As A Result Of Such Illness, By The Provision Of Facilities For Work And Recreation.5) To Preserve And Protect The Health Of The Patients Of The Yorkshire Area By Providing And Assisting In The Provision Of Facilities, Support Services And Equipment Not Normally Provided By The Statutory Authorities.
