1 Direct Charitable Objective Activities ‘Paddle Power’ regular coaching sessions for juniors, on river and in pool British Canoeing Awards (Start, Discover and Explore) Bell-boat use by various community members including Lea Green Outdoor Activity Centre and Derbyshire Scouts. Provision of facilities for Viking Canoe Polo Club (weekly sessions) Further training for coaches & volunteers Continuation of the George P Bazeley Youth Trust Fund, to extend canoeing activities to those with financial hardship Membership availability for members of the community, with numerous ‘taster’ sessions provided for non-members. 2 Member and Club Activities Sea Kayaking in Anglesey Club participation in River Derwent clean up events Various replacements of club equipment and repairs to clubhouse flooring and roof. Weekly indoor pool coached paddle sessions throughout the autumn /winter period. River sessions throughout spring / summer /early autumn. Note 1 - Basis of Accounting

In the year ending 31.08.25 the receipts were less than £250,000 so the charity has adopted a receipts and payments basis of accounting

Note 2 - Restricted Funds

The restricted fund includes amounts brought forward of £200 to fund young paddlers, £145 for disabled paddlers, with a further £44 received in the year ended 31.08.25.

Note 3 - Voluntary Income

In the year ended 31.08.25 the charity received a bequest of £149,533 with no restrictions. It is planned this will be used to build a storage facility for club boats.

Responslbilitles and basis of report As the charity's trustees, you ar8 responsible for the prep8ration of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the Mldland Canoe Club's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
