**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROVIDE SHORT TERM, EMERGENCY RELIEF FOR PEOPLE OF MIDDLETON AND THE WIDER BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE IN FINANCIAL OR OTHER CRISIS BY SUPPLYING FOOD AND OTHER ESSENTIAL GOODS; INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVE TO TOILETRIES, CLOTHING, BEDDING, TOYS, HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT AND FURNITURE TO SUSTAIN THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF THEM AND THEIR FAMILY WHILE LONGER TERM SOLUTIONS ARE SOUGHT. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008]
