Objec�ves and ac�vi�es
The Company’s main objec�ve is the promo�on of community par�cipa�on in healthy recrea�onal ac�vi�es. In par�cular this will be by the provision of facili�es for the educa�on in, and playing of sport, as well as par�cipa�on in other leisure ac�vi�es, while also providing an ‘outreach’ service via qualified sports coaches.
In doing this we will provide or assist in the provision of these facili�es in the interests of social welfare to individuals who have need of such facili�es by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their quality of life.
In the delivery of all the Company’s ac�vi�es the deliverer must ensure that they conduct the ac�vity in such a manner that it will not reflect in a way that may be detrimental to Altrincham Football Club.
The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what ac�vi�es the Charity should undertake.
Achievements and performance
disrup�ons. The Altrincham Football Club Community Charity has con�nued to run or support high quality healthy recrea�onal ac�vi�es. These have been made available to members of our community irrespec�ve of age, gender, race, religion and level of ability.
Council, Trafford Housing Trust, and the Football Founda�on. Our sincere thanks go to these organisa�ons for their ongoing support.
Financial support has also been received from the Government Furlough scheme, which has enabled the business to support its staff and fulfill its financial commitments during periods where ac�vi�es have been cancelled.

Structure, governance and management
The Charity is a company limited by guarantee , incorporated on 14 March 2012 and registered as a charity on 30 October 2013. The company was established under a Memorandum of Associa�on which established the objects and powers of the charitable company and is governed under its Ar�cles of Associa�on. In the event of the company being wound up members are required to contribute an amount not exceeding £10.

TO THE TRUSTEES OF ALTRINCHAM FOOTBALL CLUB COMMUNITY SPORTS LIMITED
Limited (the Charity) for the year ended 31 August 2021.
Responsibili�es and basis of report
As the trustees of the Charity (and also its directors for the purposes of company law) you are responsible for the prepara�on of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 (the 2006 Act).
2006 Act and are eligible for independent examina�on, I report in respect of my examina�on of the Charity’s financial statements carried out under sec�on 145 of the Chari�es Act 2011 (the 2011 Act). In carrying out my examina�on I have followed all the applicable Direc�ons given by the Charity Commission under sec�on 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act.
Independent examiner's statement

Altrincham Football Club Community Sports Limited is a private company limited by guarantee incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is Altrincham Football Club Community Sports Limited, Moss Lane, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA15 8AP, United Kingdom.
1.1 Accoun�ng conven�on

The Charity is a Public Benefit En�ty as defined by FRS 102.
The Charity has taken advantage of the provisions in the SORP for chari�es applying FRS 102 Update Bulle�n 1 not to prepare a Statement of Cash Flows.

Grants are recognised at the fair value of the asset received or receivable. Grants are not recognised un�l there is reasonable assurance that the company will comply with the condi�ons a�aching to them and the grants will be received.

2 Cri�cal accoun�ng es�mates and judgements
In the applica�on of the Charity’s accoun�ng policies, the trustees are required to make judgements, es�mates and assump�ons about the carrying amount of assets and liabili�es that are not readily apparent from other sources. The es�mates and associated assump�ons are based on historical experience and other factors that are considered to be relevant. Actual results may differ from these es�mates.
The es�mates and underlying assump�ons are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Revisions to accoun�ng es�mates are recognised in the period in which the es�mate is revised where the revision affects only that period, or in the period of the revision and future periods where the revision affects both current and future periods.
