## **In planning our activities for entire year, we kept in mind the charity commission’s guidance on public benefits.** 

1. This year we continued to identify needy people in different cities of countries where our charity supports needy people and made sure that the families we are supporting are really in need of our support and help. 

**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** 

2. In our identification we gave priority to support widows who have orphans with them and have no recourse of income on monthly bases, due to their health issues or lack of education or lack of skills to work we have given them priority. 

3. We supported them by providing necessities of life such as food and clean water. 

4. We also provided them with medical treatment and medications whenever needed. 

5. As last year we continued helping Orphan and needy students to have education in academic school to have brighter future for themselves and their families. 

6. We have supported Corona Patients, and those family badly effected with this disease.

Section D                      Achievements and performance 

## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

**We as Al-Jawad’s Trustees have achieved above objects by:** 

1. Supporting needy and Orphan students in Pakistan, India, and Iraq for their educations: (A): As last year this year (Between 30/10/2020 and 29/10/2021) we have continued sponsoring orphan students in Pakistan for their Education in New Hope School, we have chosen to support those who are in desperate need, especially Orphans. 

(B): In 2020-2021 we provided educational support to 55 students at Markaz Al Zahra in Najaf Iraq. 

2. For relief of Poverty during entire year from 30/10/2020 to 29/10/2021, We have supported more than 51 needy families in India and Pakistan, most of them were widows with orphans, we supported them on monthly basis which allowed them to buy food for themselves and their children, we have also supported above families for their medical treatments in hospitals, doctor visits and buying medicines. 

In this year we also continued to focus and support people effected with Corona, especially those who lost their jobs, and were not able to maintain basic necessities of life. 

   3. Like every year this year in the holy month of Ramadan 2021 we have distributed food pack to needy families in India and Pakistan, our food pack contained: Rice 10 KG 4 types of Lentils (Half KG each) Oil 5 litres Flour 10 KG 4 types of spices Sugar 2 KG And Onions, Gram flour, Tea Bags, Dry fruits. 

   4. This year we supported Old City Youth Welfare Society in Hyderabad India, to help needy families to bury their deceased with respect and dignity, especially those who were severely affected by Corona and were not able to bear burial costs. 

   5. We sponsored food to two below orphanages in Hyderabad India: 

- (1) Darul Yathama 

- (2) Zehra Boys Home Orphanage. 

   6. This year we also Did Qurbani On Eid Ul Adha day and distributed meet to needy families in India.
