**Objects:** TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, THEIR CARERS AND FAMILIES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE COUNTY OF HEREFORDSHIRE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:(I) PROVIDING INFORMATION AND ADVICE(II) PROVIDING A NETWORK WITH EXISTING DISABILITY GROUPS AND ORGANISATIONS TO PROMOTE COLLABORATION, INFORMATION SHARING AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A UNIFIED VOICE FOR DISABLED PEOPLE(III) REPRESENTING THE VIEWS OF DISABLED PEOPLE TO GOVERNMENT, PUBLIC, VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY AGENCIES AND ORGANISATIONS(IV) PROMOTING EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGING DISCRIMINATION FACED BY DISABLED PEOPLE.

**Activities:** Open Meetings annually feature health and social care issues, public engagement, activities for the disabled, mental health and carer's concerns.HDU engaged with Hereford Council Making it Real Board and Autism Partnership Board to feedback information on disability as champions in this area.In September the chair joined a team as an expert by experience for Peer Challenge at Hereford Council.
