In planning our activities for the year we kept in mind the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit at our trustee meetings. Providing advice and support to families who are connected with asd and those awaiting support is still our main focus. This benefits the public as we connect with people from across the country through our social networking platforms. 

We have also provided funding to educational institutions who have then used the funds to purchase educational equipment which in turn benefits the public.

Section D                      Achievements and performance 

Throughout the year our supporters continued to support us by donating **Summary of the main** via platforms such as paypal giving and individual fundraisers through **achievements of the charity** just giving. **during the year** Due to our supporters continued online support they helped raise thousands of pounds so that we could continue to provide funding to schools / groups and organisations. AAUK continued to provide online support and information and advice to people affected by ASD and continued to providing grants to schools/groups/ organisations. 

AAUK held two main fundraising events – one was the successful completion of Rat Race, which was a 20 mile, 200 obstacle mud run, and secondly was was their 10 year anniversary charity ball, which was a big success and celebration of the charities achievements, whilst raising much needed awareness and funds.
