Activities

Better Action For Families (BAFF) deliver healthy group sessions to parent/carers, adults/children with learning disabilities their families and the community. BAFF also facilitate the Carers Reference Group for Leeds and support carers who volunteer for an independent project the Good Lives Leaders, who visit residential homes of adults with learning disabilities and submit a report to QCC.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are For The Public Benefit:(1)the Advancement Of Health;(2)the Advancement Of Education;(3)the Relief Of Those In Need Because Of Youth,age,ill-Health,disability,financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage In Particular Through Targeted And Inclusive Action For The Improvement Of The Lives Of People With Learning Disabilities And Their Families And Carers;and(4)the Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Leisure-Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare To Persons Who Have Need Of Those Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth,age,infirmity Or Disability,poverty,or Social And Economic Circumstances And To Their Families And Carers.
