BOARD OF TRusfEES The management of the charity is the responsiblllty of the Trustees who administer the affairs of the Charity and its Church Arm, RCCG Shalom Centre, and ensure that It Is fulfilllng the objectlves of Shalom Centre (the reg5stered charity}. . POLICIES ADOPTED FOR THE INDucfioN AND TRAINING OF TRUSTEES All Trustees are educated and trained in relation to their legal obligations under the charity law. The Trustees recelve5 updates in relation to the deci5ion-makin8 processes and current financlal performance of the charlty. Trustees are encouraged to attend appropriate external tralnin8 events that will facilitate their knowledge In relation to their role. The Trustees receives Charitv Commission's updates and information a5 at when i55ued. C. ORAGNISATIONAL STRUCTURE AND DECISION MAKING RCCG Shalom Centre is or8anlsed such that the Trustees delegate the runnlng of Its day-to day actlvltles to the Host Pastor and avallable Volunteers. The Trustees determlne the strategic (Jlrectlon of the charlty. The Host Pastor consults the Trustees on issues that are material. Trustees meet fonrally every quarter and as at when required to review the operations of the Charity. D. RISK MANAGEMENT The Trustees have assessed the major risks to which the church arm, RCCG Shalom Centre, Is exposed to and those related to Its operations and flngnces. The Trustee5 are satisfied that systems are in place to mitlgate the exposure to major risks. OBJECTIVES & ACTIVITIES The objectlves of Shalom Centre {and its Church Arm, RCCG Shalom Centre) a all for charltable purposes and these are: To advance the Chrlstian Falth in acco'rdance with the statement of beliefs in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees from time to time may think fit. To relieve slckness and financial hardshlp. To promote and preserve good health by the provlslon of funds. goods. and servlces of any kind. It pursues these objectivès by the operation of a centre for Christian worship currently at Hacton Hall, Haydock Close, Hornchurch. RM12 6EA. In addltlon to the usual Sunday Worship Service (which is open to members of the public>, in other to reach further, RCCG Shalom Centre organises weeklv Falth Clinic online. The Sunday Worship service has helped to encourage falth and spiritual growth not only among the members of RCCG Shalom Centre but also among member5 of the community, who freely attend thls meetlng. While Faith Clinic, which is also open to members of the public, focuses on counsellin& Faith discussions and prayers. RCCG Shalom Centre receive5 requests, enquiries from member5 of the public in regarding these meetings.

Durin8 the year, RCCG Shalom Centre also or8anised events for men & women with focus on different aspects of Ilfestyle related topics and prayer sessions. Also, a full day event for Married Couples was organised as part of WINE Events (WINE is an acronym for Walking Intentionally for a New Experience was put together to help improve marital harmony and enhance love In the homes of attendee5. Durlng the year, our young adults raised awarene55 for charSty support and got members to donate food and groceries. This was donated to Romford Food Bank and sUPPOrted as well with a surn of money from the Church's purse. RCCG Shalom Centre continue to look for opportunities to reach out to the needy in the community under its 'Shalom Operation Care & Share. IShQCS). We plan to or8anise a range of cornmunity-centred activitles or projects that will further enhance the fulfilment of the Charity's objectives and build better relationship with members of the host community in the year 2025. During the year under review RCCG Shalom Centre also provided welfare support to members. PLANS FOR THE FUTURE The charity continues to explore ways to evan8elise in an effective manner by raising its online profile, using social media, and getting more involved in the communlty. The charity Is also looklng to grow Its membershlp and continue to develop Its members to make posltive impact in the society. Shalorn Centre, the charity, is still lookin8 for a place of worship on 3 long-term lease for the artivities of Its Church arm, RCCG Shalom Centre, when the opportunlty presents Itself. Th55 w511 ensure a greater Impact and create more awareness of RCCG Shalom Centre. So that members and host community can use the facility for various activities and access service5 including the monthly night prayer meetings, counselling, and educatlonal programmes. Thls will also ensure a stable and conducive place of worship that will cause a steady 8rowth in rnembershipj Wlth great spiritual and practical impact on the people.

Thi5 wlll enable the Charity to be in 50und'financial position to continue to meet its financial obllgatlons and be in posltion to contlnue to deliver Its charitable objectives on the long term. STATEMENTS OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITIES The Trustees are responsible for preparingl the Trustees, report and financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations The law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the Trustees to prepare the financial statements for each financlal year, whlch glve a true and falr vlew of the sltuatlon of the charlty and of the surplus or deficit of the charity for that period. In preparing thls flnanclal statement, the Trustees are requlred to: Select suitable accountin8 policles. Make judgments and estimates that are reasonable and prudent. Prepare the flnanclal statements on the 8oln8 concern basls unless It Is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation. It has reportin8 modules that produces standard accountlng reports and gives a snapshot of the Charity's flnanci31 situatlon as at when needed. The Charity's principal funding Is through its mernber5' contributions, tithes & offerings, and gifts from associates and friends who believe in the pbjectives of the charitv. Shalom Centre contributes to the RCCG (UK) Central Office {as WEM & Central Office Fund Contrlbutlons) to support the attlvStles of the Central Offlce and the mlsslon work of RCCG In the UK.
