In July 1909, a son was tx)rn into the Akindayomi fam1￿ of Ondo Stale of Nigerfa. Even though Ihls
child grew up surrounded by idol worshippers. he knvw there exLsted a greater sy)wer and yearned to
know, The God who ￿￿ated the earth and everyone on it.. pursuit for God le¢J him lo the Church
Missionary Socioty where he was baptlzed in 1927. Still spirfknally un[u￿1118d. ￿ Joined the Cherublm
and Seraphim church in 1931. Whilst there, he tegan to hear a voice within hlm sayng, 'You wll be
my servant.. Since this was not hi8 inlenthM. he deckled to ignore the voice. Thls went on for seven
years during whlch all the lyjsiness ventures that he til￿ resull8d Into fallure. In debt and wlthoul
peace of mind. he found himself totally dependent on the grac8 of G￿. Here marked the beglnnlng of
definite relatlonship wlh GcKI.Tolalty broken. he saying, "Lord, I wlll go wherevor you watst ¥ne
to go." He asked for signs to c(yrfirm that this was indeed God'l call. The ¢onfirmatbn came thpugh
the Bible passages of Jeremiah 1'.4-10, Isaiah 41=11￿13 and Romans 8.'29a1. The Lord assured hlm
that He would provide for all his needs. as he W￿ld rKJl r￿e1ve any salary from that polnt on. This
proved to be a rxjmfortlng reminder during the trI￿S in th8 months ahe*J. He became marfed in 1941.
He conunued to worship with the Chenjblm and Seraphim. In 1947, he started lo become concerned
that the church departing from the Inje Word of God in some of ils practices. By 1952, he fell
totally persuaded lo leave the Church. He started at Wlloughby StreeL EI￿te-metta, Lagos a hou58
fellowshlp ¢alled, the Gkny of God Fellowship. Initialty there ￿re nlne members but bèfore long th8
fellowshlp rapldly grew as th8 new5 of th8 mkacles that ocuJrr&J in thelr mldsl spread.
Pa AkInda￿l also had a visK)n of words thal appeared to be written on a bl￿kb0ard. The words
were "The Redeemed Christ￿￿ Church of God.. AMazirVJ￿. Pa Akindayomi who could wt read or
write w88 supernaturally able to write these words (k)wn. In this VIs￿atiOn, G￿1 also said to hlm that thls
church would go lo the ends of the earth ar)d that the Lord Jesus Christ appeared In glory, He
would meet the Church. The L(Yd then estsbllshed a covenant %Mlh Pa Akn"ndayomi. synonymous to the
Abrahamic covenant in the BiFAe. He said thal He the Lord would meet all the needs of the Church In
an awesome way if onty members would serve Him faiimully and be obedient to His w￿d. It is uwn

thi5 new place of worship such as: 1. Construction of ￿th maie and female loilels. 2. Partitlonlng lo

ONE OR TWO PARISHES IN DUE COURSE AS THE LORD HELPS US. (iv). We are at the verge of

and female and also made loads of inlema partilK)ning lo meet for our use. iii. Our Church has been
granted Certlfi¢ale to operate as a Hace of Worship by Sandwell Bcirough Coundl on 51h March 2024.
