Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Our volunteers and the foundations that we have laid down in West Norwood have continued to help the community in since the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic have been relaxed.
Regular activities have resumed in the community, and normality has returned to the day-to-day services provided by our volunteers at the West Norwood Islamic Centre.
We have also noticed the rise in members of the local community who are coming to the Islamic faith, from teenagers upwards. This has prompted us to start networking with them and providing extra services for their integration into the community.
We are planning to hold events and facilitate services in the coming year to enhance the experience of these New Muslims and let them feel that their needs are being fulfilled during this new stage in this life.
