actlve Parent Teacher Assodatlon
- Frlends of Stepgates Communlty
School (FOSS) who organise many
actlvftles and events durln8 the
year. on a voluntary basls. to
ralse funds for both their own
and the school's charlty
accounts.
Our Board of Governors and
parents. alongslde members of
our local communlty have been
Instrumental In helplng to
progress our aim to fund a
bulldln8 to house our school pool.
We have been fortunate to enlist
the servlces of a local flrm of
archltects who have provlded
their services free of charge
provldln8 technlcal drawlngs, the
submisslon of the plannlng
appllcatlon to the local authorlty
and Ilalslng wlth bullders and
other contrartors required to
obtsln
uotes for the work.
The parents and carers of the

the local Co-op through thelr

scheme.
This flnancial year we have
applled to Your Fund Surrey for
funding for a swfmmfng pool
building to enclose our open alr
pool. We were successful In the
first round of appllcatlons and
have been Invited to submlt a full
appllcatlon. Thls process Is
ongoin8 as we first had to obtaln
plannln8 consents from the Local
Authorfty which we are delighted
to confirm have been granted.
